PACIFIC NORTHWEST
WESTERN WASHINGTON AREA

Meet your chapter leader: Hillary Hopkins, she/her

Body liberation in the outdoors is being free of judgement and shame. It’s where we let our belly rolls show and we break free from stereotypes of what an outdoor person looks like. In the Body Liberation Hiking Club PNW, we celebrate being present. It’s not about racing to get to the top of the hill, rather enjoying nature along the way. It’s where we find freedom within ourselves to be our most awesome, authentic selves. To explore and try something different, you never know, it may just be your next favorite activity.

Who you are right now is more than enough. At the BLHC PNW you will be seen, heard, and understood. Your story matters.

Together we will explore the outdoors. This could look like walking in a park, hiking on a trail, car camping at a state park, kayaking in a lake, swimming, and so much more. Bring your ideas, lace up your shoes and let's get started. I can’t wait to meet you!
