ADIRONDACKS

Meet your chapter leaders:

Liz, she/her & Bo, he/him

Liz: Hi! For myself, body liberation is about being able to enjoy and access the outdoors when and how I want and having access to affordable gear that fits my body. Body liberation is also allowing myself to take up space and enjoy the outdoors just as I am. I don't need to hike the fastest hike or climb the tallest mountain; I go at my own pace and take time to enjoy the views along the way. I am excited to co-lead a chapter with my partner Bo, the Adirondacks have SO much to offer, and we're going to do our best to cover as much of it as we can.

Favorite place to hike? My current favorite place to hike is the Lake George area of the Adirondacks.

Favorite book? I am a big book nerd and would love to hear recommendations. My favorite books last year were “Once There Were Wolves” by Charlotte McConaghy and “Nowhere for Very Long” by Brianna Madia.

Bo: What’s happening? Body Liberation outdoors allows you the same freedom as everyone else outside. To me, it means being able to do all the things and not feeling any judgment while also building a community of like-minded individuals. I would like to use this space to share with others what I have learned over the years. Liz, my fiancée, is the co-leader of this group; she knows a lot about the region and has taught me a lot. We will work together to provide you with a judgment-free experience. If you have any questions about outdoor tech or vehicles for outdoor adventures, I'm your guy.
